  1. Mikeb, have you ever driven in central Florida? If you're not speeding, you're getting run over.

    1. I didn't see the video, but I'd read about this. I figured it for Florida. I guess it matters where a person learns or is retrained in how to drive.

    2. Nah, speeding is speeding anywhere. Just because he (Zimmerman) happened to be in Texas its supposed to be news worthy?

I have been on that stretch of road many times, unless your in the middle of a large collection of cars speeding, your gonna get popped thru there. If you at the back of the pack, slow down. If your at the front, I have seen them pass everyone to nail you. If your in the middle, seems like your good to go, and I have.

  2. Same in Texas, around the DFW area, or Forney Texas where he was stopped at, if you don't move with the traffic, your a speed bump. However if your going down the road with no one else, you had better be going the speed limit. This is about 25 miles from Dallas.

And this is what makes the news now? Will Zimmerman ever get a break from the media? Texas law enforcement obviously doesn't have a problem with him, other than a minor traffic violation and received a verbal warning.

Nothing to see here, go home.

    1. Oh and this too, he was carrying a gun in his vehicle too, the horror of it all. And still has his Florida permit to do so, what is the world coming to after all!

Really, go home, still nothing to see here.

  3. Oh No! He was SPEEDING! Alert the Media! The American people must know what a horrible scofflaw he is! Anyone who ever gets caught speeding is obviously a Horrible person and should be locked away from civilized people!

In other news, where was your coverage of the news story about him putting out a fire and then helping a family out of their overturned vehicle?

Can't print anything that would make him look like a nice helpful guy, but get him breaking the law in however minor a way, and it's REAL news.

    1. Tennessean, didn't you hear? That was supposed to be staged! A prop to make him a normal guy after all. Yeah,,,,,,,,

  4. He is getting antsy... needs to kill someone else soon. Vehicles might work.

    1. You act as though you know a lot about a person that I imagine you've never met.

    2. Hey! Look! Daisy knows how to libel people! Isn't that a cute trick! Apparently, her dislike for Zimmerman justifies her libelous attacks--I guess we missed that defense in Torts.

  5. The guy has a history of violence, has killed, now he gets caught speeding. If I was a cop I would be watching this guy if he was in my town. The two scum Ted (Greg) Nugent and TN who like to joke about a child's death are defending this creep, figures.

  6. I actually found it surprising that GZ would do ANYTHING wrong, even speeding. He's lucky the cop who handled it was so accommodating.

    1. Down that road, in fact several different roads around here Mike, change speed up and down rather often. Its almost like speed traps. They will go from 55 to 45 and then to 60 and back 45 almost without notice in less than a mile in some places. These are connectors to different townships and cities and each one determines their own speed limits within their borders. If your not really paying attention, they will get you.

I have been had myself a couple of times on these roads. Out of town folk often get a break for not knowing, unless they are REALLY getting after it. Locals will get ticketed every time.

So I doubt he was actually speeding on purpose, just wasn't watching. Especially given his recent experiences.

    2. Make every excuse in the book for this killer.

    3. Yes, Kevin, your righteous indignation is SO warranted! How DARE anyone ever speed; especially people you don't like!

      Mike,
How do you see the cop being justifiably less accommodating without crossing the line himself? Are you just saying he's lucky he got a warning instead of a ticket, or are you saying he's lucky he didn't get a hickory shampoo?

    4. Nice to see you approve of a guy who has been violent towards women and the police, kills a person, and is now speeding around with a loaded gun. This is what you defend? No surprise, your the same scum that makes jokes about the death of a 6 year old. Go kill someone with your gun, you will feel better and be in great company.
