Cheap Gun Safes are Good for Nothing

I don't know if I believe what this video is supposed to show, but the point is a good one. Some cheap gun safes are not good enough.

Gun safety has to be taken more seriously, especially when it comes to keeping kids safe. A quick scan of the daily news is enough to see this is not the case now.  We need increased awareness and stronger legislation concerning home security of weapons.

What's your opinion?  Please leave a comment.

  1. So a video that doesn't show a gun safe in it is an example of how some gun safe's aren't good enough?

    1. Your consumer expertise of all products has determined that, what, it's some other kind of safe?

    2. I've looked at a lot of gun safes and have never seen that one. Is it marketed as a gun safe? If not then why say it sucks as a gunsafe if it is not designed as a gun safe? A plastic Walmart bag sucks as a gunsafe too.

  2. Awareness? Sure. More legislation? Ain't gonna happen. But hey, since I don't have children fouling up my home, I'm good to go, right?

  3. There was an excellent video on how to defeat just about any gun safe out there, all except the big banker vault type of gun safe. A lot of them can be defeated with just a paper clip, and these are those fancy electronic, biometric gadgets.

I dont have a gun safe,,,,,,,,yet. But it will be a heavy banker vault type. Anything can be defeated, just get the kind that almost impossible to do so and those are NOT cheap!
